Adaptogens belong to a group of herbs that have been used for thousands of years in Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Indian Medicine to balance the hormones, reduce stress, and boost energy. Similar to meditation, adaptogens help bring the mind and body back into balance.
During the guided workshop, you will learn all about what these amazing herbs are and explore common adaptogens such as ashwagandha, maca, tulsi (holy basil), amla and he shou wu. We will discuss their effects on the body and go over tips on how to maximize their benefits and how to easily incorporate them into your daily routine.
Then, we’ll dive straight into making adaptogen iced tea recipes, using tulsi tea as a base and adding other adaptogens and delicious ingredients like cacao and tahini to make delicious, refreshing drinks you can enjoy all Summer long.
You will leave with recipes and tulsi tea to make your own adaptogen iced teas at home.
