January and February may have felt as though you were put through the ringer, but fret not dear moon-gazer for your luck is about to change. Or at least your perspective is.

This is a full moon abundant with an air of excitement and adventure, as well as courage and confidence. The goals and dreams you have been working towards in the past months may start to show signs that they are all attainable, possible and well within your reach with the bright light from our glorious moon. Now is a time to LEAN IN to those energies with complete gusto. The fogginess of the mind and convoluted clouds of low confidence are starting to part. You will feel shocks of electricity that startle you from this heavy winter slumber. Spring is around the corner and that is exciting.

Tensions in relationships may start to ease so take the time to nourish them with love and attention. If you have been facing a sexual wall, this full moon is a great time to set your mind to opening up, so to speak, nurturing both yourself and your partner with physical connection. If you have been struggling with relationship connections amongst friends or at work, this is also a great time to make amends.

And while we may be feeling excited, relieved, confident and happy, planetary alignment this full moon suggests that there will be some instances of falsity and power, ambition and people who may not have your best interests in mind. Simply keep that in the back of your mind as you move full speed ahead this full moon, fuelled by positivity and alignment. Don’t let false riches distract you. Stay pure.

Go back to the goals you set during the opportunistic new moon of February 4th. Assess how you felt when you set those intentions and how you are feeling now. Dive into the possibilities and liberate yourself from everything that has been holding you back. Now is the time to make your dreams come true.

Moon Cycle: November 7th – December 5th

Full Moon: November 22nd

Keywords: Forgiveness, Transformation, Healing, Empathy, Spiritual Closeness, Manifestation, Compassion

The past moon cycle may have left you feeling slightly exposed and raw in the heart. Emotions were coursing through our spirits this past month, with Venus Retrograde still rampant and the full moon in Taurus unleashing our ego. It is entirely possible that we may have had our backs up, and tensions flared in our closest relationships, including our relationship with self. If you felt slightly out of alignment these past few weeks and had trouble finding your centre, rest assured that the new moon in Scorpio brings with it a compassionate energy that will bring relief and healing to the wounds we allowed to come to the surface this past moon.

Forgive Others, Forgive Yourself

One of the major ways we can embrace healing is through the act of forgiveness. What tensions were stirred within our closest relationships this past moon? Most importantly, what occurred during the past month that may have challenged our relationship with self? This new moon in Scorpio brings with it a compassionate energy that we can leverage to soothe and nourish our raw wounds, allowing us to extend forgiveness to those who may have done us wrong, while also allowing forgiveness to heal our own relationship with self.

This new moon, it will be important to embrace our love of self, as well as conduct strong acts of self-care and self-love. If we can nourish our most valuable resources (our inner being and our bodies) we are rightly prepared for the positive and strong transformations that this new moon can bring.

Manifesting and Transformation

The new moon in Scorpio will be an opportune time to manifest the goals and dreams we have long had in heart. This moon cycle brings with it a strong energy of transformation, that we can leverage to our benefit, with love and grace. Make sure to strongly dictate your intentions this new moon, while evaluating in your life what it is you would like to transform. Ask yourself if you are ready to become a newer version of yourself, and if you are open to what this new role will mean for you. Further to, the manifestation energy of this new moon is strong, however, we may need to revert back to the theme of forgiveness before we are able to embrace our next level of abundance. Stay true to yourself and see where you need to extend forgiveness in your life, or where you need to ask for it. Be humble, and more forward once forgiveness is granted.

Compassion and Grace

Above all, this new moon is optimal for compassion and charity. You may find your empathy to be strong. Remember that there is nothing wrong with filling your own cup before tending to the needs of others. Put your goals, dreams and health first, then move on to care for those around you from a place of complete abundance.

Rulers Make Bad Lovers: Welcome to the New Moon in Libra Blog Image

Moon Cycle: From October 8th – November 6th

Full Moon: October 24th

Keywords: Partnerships, Relationships, Justice, Trust, Faith, Health

The moon indeed never lies. It’s no surprise that during a particularly disappointing time in the world from a judiciary perspective, we are entering a new moon in Libra, a sign that is represented by the scales of justice. Lady Libra is feeling a little winded at the moment. As with all moon cycles, we are more attuned to the energies of the sign the moon is in and Libras strongly value balance, fairness and justice, compassion and grace. Therefore, if you find yourself feeling  unbalanced, extra-charged, angry and triggered over current particular world (ahem, US-based) events that seem unjust and just appalling, understand that your sense of justice is working in overdrive. Honour your anger but do not let it consume you. Change comes from clarity of vision.

What Do You Believe?

This new moon in Libra is inviting us to look inside and try to understand where our own moral checks and balances come into play. How strongly do you believe in what you say and how far are you willing to go to stand up for what is right? Be wary, as we are all feeling protective of our beliefs and bodies at the moment. With the new moon square Pluto and Venus in Retrograde, we may find ourselves in situations where we go too far to protect our beliefs, causing unnecessary issues and conflicts. By all means, protect your values, but ensure your approach is graceful, leaving you in the best light.

Women Are Centre

Interestingly enough, this new moon will highlight the rights of women as it is conjunct Ceres and quincunx Neptune. While typically this alignment brings up issues surrounding the rights of women; particularly single parents, it seems as though the rights of women in other matters are highlighted at the moment. Honour that. Take time this moon cycle to extend love, light and positive energy to the women around us; those who raised us, those who comfort us and those who stand up for us.

This is a beautiful moon cycle to circle and connect with your female allies, even if you are male. The energy of the female is strong at the moment and bonding together is a great way to soothe our souls.

A Highlight On Health

This new moon also puts a spotlight on our health and the concept of detoxification. Whether you need a good cleanse in diet or in your life, we are called to cut everything that stands in our way of being our best selves, including bad habits and toxic people. Any moves we make this new moon to better our health and relationships will go a long way. A large transformation may be on the horizon in terms of our health or relationships, so be proactive and stand up for what’s best for you. Cut out negativity in all its forms and embrace self-love.

Manifest Success With Citrine - Citrine Rock

With the new moon here, it’s a great time to talk about citrine, the crystal most commonly utilized in manifestation and associated with joy and success.

Widely known as The Merchant’s Stone or The Success Stone, citrine has long been recognized for its ability to stimulate abundance and wealth, and is particularly useful when working towards manifesting our goals in the areas of finance or business.

That said, citrine is not magic crystal that will bring you an abundance of wealth simply by being in its presence. As with all stones and crystals, it is important to remember that it is our guiding will and intentions that are aided by the crystal in question.

Citrine works towards our goals of manifesting success through the energy and frequency found in its beautiful colours. Yellow and gold light activate and stimulate the Sacral and the Solar Plexus . These particular chakras are associated with our feelings of will, our personal power and our abilities to move forward with control, along with our joy and feelings of abundance.

Keeping Citrine close to your work space can aid in keeping us focused and strong as we work through the steps required to meet our goals in the business or financial realm.

Further to this, meditating with Citrine will bring clarity and focus, and can help aid in our creativity and inspiration, which is also helpful when working towards our goals. Citrine can help elevate our feelings of worth and optimism, reminding us that we are worthy of what we desire and keeping us optimistic about the path the universe sends us on to get what we want and need.

Below are some beautiful ways to incorporate Citrine into your day to day.

Toronto: Local Ceremonies and Circles Happening for April's Pink Moon Blog Image

While April’s full moon goes by many names such as the Full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon or the Fish Moon, our favourite name by far is The Pink Moon. As true believers in the spiritual power of the colour pink, we cannot help but be slightly disappointed that Sunday’s full moon will not actually be the colour pink. April’s full moon is called The Pink Moon as a nod to one of spring’s first flowers to bloom; the wild ground phlox.

Ritual is always important during a full moon, as this is when we are meant to move into full action to support our intentions set in the new moon cycle. It is also when energy and creativity are at peak, making it important to leverage our inner momentum towards the direction we want our life to go.

However, if the intentions set during the new moon cycle are not coming into fruition as we had hoped, it is perfectly ok to accept that with love and kindness. This means we must take the time to check in with ourselves, see where we are emotionally and physically and honour our progress.

As we head into spring, we are invited to embrace this opportunity on Sunday to shed anything negative that may be holding us back. It is time to truly let go of winter’s darkness and embrace the light, stepping into who we are and who we are wanting to become.

We’ve rounded up some of the opportunities in Toronto to gather with like-minded individuals and embrace ritual together on Sunday:
